Description
Carboxymethylcellulose + Naphazoline + Camphor + Menthol + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Boric Acid is a combination of lubricant, cooling agents, antiallergic, and antimicrobial medicines. Carboxymethylcellulose is a lubricant that works similarly to natural tears and provides temporary relief from the discomfort and burning due to the dryness of the eye. Naphazoline narrows the blood vessels in the eye, thereby reducing redness and inflammation (swelling). Camphor and menthol provide a cooling sensation to the eye. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic that blocks the action of certain chemicals responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes. Boric acid has antibiotic properties that kill infection-causing microorganisms. It also relieves eye irritation.
